About Maine Orthotics
Ken Perkins, CO/PT, provided the highest-quality orthotic care to the Maine community and beyond for over 40 years. His focus was always on patient satisfaction which he achieved through innovative evaluation and manufacturing techniques as well as a caring attitude.
During the last 10 years, he has had the pleasure of mentoring his son, Kyle, who is taking these fine traditions into the future.
Meet the Owner
Kyle Perkins, C.Ped.
Kyle is a Certified Pedorthist (C.Ped.), a healthcare professional trained in patient evaluation, design, fabrication and fitting of pedorthic devices. Having grown up in the practice his father founded, Kyle combines decades of inherited expertise with his own dedication to innovation and patient care. He is joined by a fantastic team at Maine Orthotics who assist him in both welcoming patients to our practice and curating custom orthotics.
When he’s not helping patients, you’ll find Kyle spending time with his family, bowling or enjoying the outdoors, be it camping, backpacking, kayaking, biking, fishing or golf. He also enjoys spending time with lifelong friends that he has known for decades.

I have had orthotics before but never from Maine Orthotics. I couldn’t believe the difference in pain reduction from my first steps! It clearly matters where you get your orthotics from, and I can’t imagine going anywhere else after my experience there. If you have not tried them out, I highly recommend you do.

Success!
I have been struggling all my life with a dropped foot and fallen arches. Several prior attempts with other providers were disappointing and the failed results brought me more pain.
Finally I had a great experience! My feet and also my legs are much more comfortable. What a relief!
Kyle was knowledgeable, patient and understood my concerns. He said he would make any adjustments for free if there were any problems. I only needed one small adjustment and my life is improved!
